Transfer Modality Research Initiative (TMRI)

Abstract

TMRI was a cluster randomised control trial assessing the impact of cash transfers, food transfers and nutrition behaviour change communication on food security and nutrition in poor rural households in Bangladesh. The intervention covered 5000 households and ran for two years from 2012 to 2014. The survey work assessing the impact includes a baseline (2012), midline (2013) and endline (2014) survey, as well as a four-year post-programme follow-up carried out in 2018.
