Improved cookstoves in rural Senegal – Health effects and the missing market

Abstract

This study uses data collected in a randomized controlled trial in 2018 and 2019 with 525 households in 15 communities in rural Senegal to evaluate the usability of the two improved biomass cookstoves, and their impacts on firewood consumption, air pollution, and female health.
