g der Waldfläche. Allerdings war der Verlust hier deutlich geringer als in
den Vergleichsgebieten. Wendet man den Unterschied auf die gesamte Schutzgeb
ietsfläche in Lateinamerika an, lässt sich errechnen, dass zwischen 2000 u
nd 2021 dort insgesamt 5,1 Mio. Hektar Wald erhalten wurden. Das entspricht
